![]() ![]() Sign me up,Talking about blatantly unfair, unfair is cockpit racers forced to race with replay camera racers, where's the OPTION? To race with like minded people, works both ways,I dont try to force anyone to race the same way as I do, people who do, do so cause they want, only problem is where forced to race offline, cause cockpit no assits vs replay plus assits isnt FAIR.Good points I'm actually on the same page. ![]() The B E A uty of opinions are we all have them,Look at some of my posts, ive asked codemasters to add all the assits under the sun, am just also asking for options online to force them all off, everyone should be able to race how they wish, currently that isnt the case,You start a poll asking for a virtual mirror but also a option to force it off, in a online lobby. I Remember we had this discussion in the a few weeks back.Virtual mirrors might be one approach.I would prefer a 'radar' system like in ACC, or as a mod in AC.Would fit perfectly in the HALO.Unfortunately CM has their own philosophy of 'HUD' elements ( and the dash, but that's another, never ending story).Either you have the same monitor as I have (Samsung 49') or you're using TrackIR (as I do), or both.I can understand the people well asking for some kind of virtual mirror. I am glad you found a solution because it is irritating having a driving view that you are not happy with, I was going to get a copy of ACC but when I found that there was no provision for cockpit adjustments on the PS4 version I wasn't interested, the graphics in that game are a bit cartooney and if you are sat with your nose against the windscreen because that is how they reckon the FOV is in real life then its a no go for me.To race with like minded people, works both ways,I dont try to force anyone to race the same way as I do, people who do, do so cause they want, only problem is where forced to race offline, cause cockpit no assits vs replay plus assits isnt FAIR. I miss having perfect eyesight, having to use a micro scope to read the small print on government documents relating to spending during Brexit and the pandemic is a real pain. I think people who use VR headsets will probably find that they start to have vision problems after prolonged use. Yes you are right to be careful with your eyesight, unfortunately mine has suffered owing to the usual maltreatment of myself. Value 2x1, 3x1 scales the fov lower and lower. I found the solution anyways, there is an option in the hardware_settings_config.xml called eyefinity force. I'm 42 years old, and I still can see everything sharply because I followed this rule so far, despite watching the monitor for 12 hours a day. ![]() The answer is simple, I don't want to kill my eyes by focusing on things that are too close for longer time, ~80cm is the sweet spot as far as I know. ![]()
